Homophone Anchor Chart

This upcoming week, our curriculum begins covering homophones & homographs again. Although I made this anchor chart when first introducing homophones to my students, they still continue to reference it, which makes me a HAPPY teacher!

With each anchor chart that I make, I really try to think outside the box & develop something that will stick in my kids' memories.

Homophone Anchor Chart

The purpose behind the Homophone Anchor Chart is to make my kids think, "Homophones...phone = sound...the thing that homophones have in common is SOUND!" 

It's something that my kids easily relate to, therefore it sticks in their memory. :)
